Open your hand, open your heart, cultivate generosity.
Open your hand 18 times in six days
Did you know that you can build generosity in yourself, the same way you might build a muscle? Try it during Generosity Week.
- Step One: Decide how much money you will set aside to give away in Generosity Week and divide that amount into 18 units. Maybe it'll be $1 or $2 or even $20 for each of the 18 gifts you will give.
- Step Two: Give 18 gifts during February 17 – 22, 2013. Accompany each gift with a card which explains what you're doing. Spread the word about generosity. Let the world know you are building your Generosity muscle. Print or order cards
- Step Three: Keep a journal or post to Generosity Week’s Facebook fan page. Write while doing this: about your feelings, your reactions and your stories. Sometimes it may feel hard, sometimes so right. You’ll discover resistance in yourself. You will experience success. (Step 3 is optional, but it builds the strongest generosity muscle.)
